OpenTypeless

OpenTypeless is a MIT-licensed, cross-platform desktop AI voice-typing app for Windows, macOS, and Linux.

Place the cursor in any text field—email, chat, documents, notes, code editors, or AI chats—and use a global hotkey to speak. It transcribes speech and inserts the result at the current cursor, with optional AI polishing, rewriting, translation, and Ask Anything.

It supports multiple STT and LLM providers, BYOK, Ollama, local dictionaries, app-aware writing, and compatible local endpoints so users can control their model and data flow.
