SatPixel is more than just a simple daily satellite city guessing game — it's a 'geography lab' built on satellite remote sensing images. I designed 5 completely different interactive modes for map and geography lovers. Currently live features include:
SatZoom (core gameplay): The image gradually goes from extremely blurry (pixelated) to clear. You need to guess which city it is based on city outlines and road network patterns before the focusing finishes.
SatPin (coordinate positioning): The system gives you a clear landmark image, and you need to accurately 'pin' its latitude and longitude on an interactive map. The smaller the error, the higher the score.
SatAtlas (atlas recognition): Focuses on unique landforms and landmark buildings around the world, perfect for players who love collecting and identifying specific landscapes like famous stadiums and bizarre natural wonders.
SatMap (map matching): Themed maps based on satellite maps, such as the Top 20 Global Port Distribution Map and Top 50 Global Airport Distribution Map.
SatQuiz (knowledge quiz): Fun quizzes combining satellite images and textual background knowledge, so you can learn new things while playing.
