Floweb is an ultra-lightweight all-in-one browser that turns websites into desktop widgets.
Why did we build this tool? Originally, I wanted to pin a website I used for Pomodoro tracking, but found no built-in setting in the latest macOS to keep a browser window always on top. Some old workarounds only support outdated system versions, and most third-party tools I researched only work on either macOS or Windows, which didn't fit my dual-system setup. As a programmer, I always love building my own custom tools. I also ran a navigation site called "Rumou Website" 8 years ago, so I combined the two ideas into this little tool.

The tool now supports both macOS and Windows, with the following features:
WebApps · Easy setup: Each webapp is tied to a single URL, with simple, straightforward operations to turn your frequently used websites into convenient app forms. It can automatically fetch high-definition logos for websites, and also supports custom icons. It can automatically recognize website titles. · Multi-account support and independent data storage (Windows only): Each webapp stores data separately, supports independent login, so you can easily switch between different accounts to meet various needs like managing multiple social media or work accounts at the same time, with no data interference between accounts to protect your information security and usage convenience.
· Window management Always on top: Pin important windows to the top layer for easy viewing and operation at any time, ensuring key information is not blocked by other windows. Transparent window: Adjust window transparency freely, so you can view window content while keeping an eye on other interface information, improving multitasking efficiency and visual experience.
· Practical utilities Auto refresh: Easily view the latest data of specific pages without manual frequent refreshing, saving time and operation costs, especially suitable for scenarios that require real-time information updates such as stock quotes and news feeds.
· Resizable: Freely adjust window size according to your actual needs to adapt to different content display and operation requirements, providing a more flexible usage experience.
· Multi-simulator (multiple sizes): Provides multiple size simulation environments, allowing you to test and experience under different device size scenarios, better adapting to various device types to ensure the best display effect of apps on different screen sizes.
· User-Agent: Simulate User-Agent of various devices, so you can pretend to be different devices when accessing websites, facilitating compatibility testing or meeting the access requirements of specific websites for different devices, enhancing the universality and applicability of the app.
· JS scripts: Supports JS scripts to provide users with richer customization and expansion functions to meet personalized needs.
· Open in default browser: Directly open relevant content in the default browser for seamless connection, making it convenient for users to further browse or process relevant information.
We are working hard to develop more features such as side snapping and automatic window scaling. But don't expect too much, haha. If you like it, feel free to give us more suggestions. Currently, free users can only open one webapp at the same time.
