As a seasoned credit card user with 10 years of experience and a developer, managing the dozens of credit cards I hold has always been a huge headache for me.
Over the years, I've tried notebooks, Excel, then apps like "5x Credit Card Home" and "Card Ox", and even a credit card bill management software developed by my own company. They all share a common trait: all their card management features are centered around billing statements.
It's true that for most people, the perfect app would tell you exactly which card to use, when to pay, and how much to pay, plus one-click auto-pay to make it completely flawless.
But to achieve all this, you often have to pay a big price. The biggest issue is data security. Plus, due to industry restrictions, very few apps can fully deliver all 4 of these features. Every app has its own flaws.
Over the years, I've missed payments several times due to carelessness, and it was truly heartbreaking.
So this year, I reorganized my needs and set out to build a credit card management app that works for me and for the vast majority of fellow card users.
My idea is that managing credit cards should be a super simple thing. The core needs are just three:
- When will my billing statement be generated?
- When do I need to make a payment?
- Which card should I use today for the best value?
That's why "Card Meow" only focuses on these three simple tasks, with the simplest and most practical features to help you manage your credit cards with ease. It also integrates with the latest iOS desktop widget feature, putting your card info right on your home screen so you can check it the moment you open your phone.
【Privacy & Security】 Card Meow never actively collects any of your personal information. All data is stored locally on your device. You can even turn off cellular data and Wi-Fi to use Card Meow fully offline.
