About

[Indie developed app] What do you really care about when checking the weather? For me, it’s only whether it’s going to rain. Rain or Not? is an app that lets you tell at a glance if it will rain. We prioritize rainfall info, while also including essential temperature and air quality data. More fun features are coming soon, stay tuned!

  • Intuitive display Whether in the widget or the app itself, you can see at a glance if it will rain and when. Tap the rain dial on the home screen to switch to a temperature dial, so you can see when it’s best to head out.

  • A fresh, relaxed feel Unlike most weather apps with stiff, formal designs, this app uses light, cheerful language. I’ll keep and refine this style going forward.

  • Key features Widgets: Small real-time weather, medium real-time weather, today’s forecast, tomorrow’s forecast, sunrise and sunset. Weather info: Real-time weather data, daily rainfall and temperature data, hourly rainfall and weather data, air quality data. Rain dial: Visible on both the home screen and widgets, tap it in the app to switch to a temperature dial.

  • About subscriptions The app’s widget data is usually refreshed every morning by default. If you want more accurate, hourly refreshed data, you can subscribe to the service. There are no other paid subscription features for now, but more may be added later.

A quick note on subscription terms: Once you confirm purchase and pay, your benefits will be added to your iTunes account and will auto-renew via your iTunes account. Your Apple iTunes account will be charged 24 hours before the current subscription period ends, and the subscription will be extended for another period once payment is successful. To cancel auto-renewal, please turn off the auto-renewal option in your iTunes/Apple ID settings at least 24 hours before the current subscription period expires.

Weather data is provided by Caiyun Weather, though not all features are fully integrated yet — stay tuned for updates!
