Shadow Snap turns one movie still and a few lines of dialogue into a single cinematic subtitle image. Import a still, type your lines and press Enter after each one: Shadow Snap slices the bottom strip of the frame once per line and stacks the strips under the image, like a run of film subtitle screenshots. Pick one of four film color presets (Nolan White, Wong Kar-wai Gold, Tokyo Cyan, Minimal Mono) and fonts for Chinese, Latin, Thai, Vietnamese and Arabic text, then adjust font size, colors, outline, slice height, safe margins and an optional watermark.

Everything runs on HTML5 Canvas in your browser, so your images are never uploaded. Free, no account needed, and it works on desktop and mobile.
