Generic AI chat tools will forget the protagonist's motivation by chapter 50. Goink has developed a proprietary ReAct Agent engine paired with a six-dimensional structured memory database (covering characters, foreshadowing, character arcs, locations, reader perception, and writing preferences). Before writing each chapter, the AI automatically checks worldbuilding settings and searches prior content, and runs automatic status checks after finishing writing. This isn't just prompt engineering — it actually queries the database directly.

Paste a sample of your writing, and the AI reverse-engineers your unique style

Feed in chapters you've already written (minimum 5 chapters), and Goink breaks down your writing style across six dimensions: sentence structure, word choice habits, rhetorical devices, pacing control, narrative distance, and tone/atmosphere. It then automatically generates a custom "Writing Style Skill" for you. All subsequent AI continuations will match your style, no need to repeatedly prompt with "please imitate my writing style".

Skill System: Turn writing methodologies into loadable modules

Need to control information release pacing for mystery writing? Need to master subtext in dialogue for romance writing? Every writing technique is packaged as a Skill — essentially a Markdown file that takes effect immediately after creation, with hot reloading for edits. 12 built-in Skills cover scene beats, dialogue subtext, pacing control, hook design, character development, and more. The three-tier override mechanism (built-in → user → novel-level) means same-named Skills at the novel level automatically override global settings, so every book has its own independent writing methodology.

Automatic post-writing maintenance, no need to manually remind the AI

After finishing a chapter, the system forces the AI to run itemized self-checks: Have character relationships changed? Is it time to resolve foreshadowing? How far has the character arc progressed? Does reader perception need to be updated? A three-tier safeguard mechanism ensures the AI doesn't cut corners.

Git version control + line-by-line diff approval

Every novel is a standalone Git repository. Every AI modification generates a unified diff, with side-by-side comparison in the Monaco Editor for line-by-line approval. Reject changes you don't agree with, and roll back with one click if the writing goes off track. For projects with hundreds of thousands of words, every single modification is fully traceable.

No data uploads, no third-party relay. API keys are stored with encryption, and 7 domestic model templates (DeepSeek, GLM, Kimi, Qwen, Doubao, etc.) are built in — just enter your key to start using. The installer is under 60MB with zero dependencies. Open sourced under the MIT license, compatible with Windows, macOS, and Linux.
