I wasn't sure what tool to build recently, until I recalled a friend wanted to use LinkChecker to check the validity of links in their bookmarks. But extracting links from HTML-formatted bookmarks manually was extremely time-consuming. I tried letting AI process the bookmark file, which successfully extracted the links but came with privacy risks. Later, when I wanted to export a plain list of links from my own bookmarks, I also got stuck on the HTML format. Luckily I didn't have too many links so I could handle it manually, but it felt really silly. All in all, browsers aren't user-friendly enough for this task, so I built this dedicated bookmark tool that checks link validity and exports results in easy-to-read table, text or JSON formats.
