DuoLian's learning workflow is divided into three core modules: new word learning, old word practice, and diary (practical application)

1. New Word Learning We recommend allocating 40%-60% of your daily study time to new word learning. The core goal of this module is to help you form a first impression of new words, laying a solid foundation for subsequent practice.

2. Old Word Practice As a practice-focused memorization tool, we also recommend dedicating 40%-60% of your daily study time to practice. In the practice module, we automatically calculate the next review time for words and flashcards based on the forgetting curve algorithm to select review content, and offer a range of flexible practice modes.

Smart Practice & Silent Recall In the [Smart Practice & Silent Recall] mode, we automatically generate exercises of varying difficulty based on your current mastery of each word (including flashcards, definition selection, dictation, example sentence translation, sentence making, and more). We aim to steadily strengthen your vocabulary command through progressively adaptive, diverse exercises.

On-the-Go Audio We recommend using your daily fragmented time to train your ears with the [On-the-Go Audio] module, which also effectively reinforces your memory of words and example sentences.

Diary Why did we add a diary module to a vocabulary memorization app? The main goal is to strengthen your practical ability to use learned words through diary writing. In this module, you can write your diary (or short essays? We’re sure everyone has a knack for journaling) via typing or voice input. After you finish writing, the system will conduct an intelligent check and provide you with revision suggestions.
