About

Teamlinker is an all-in-one team collaboration platform integrating diverse functions and modules. You can connect with team members, assign tasks, host meetings, schedule affairs, manage files, and more. It also supports free offline deployment with full feature parity with the online version.

For many companies, they used to need separate tools to track project progress, communicate with colleagues, and hold meetings with clients, each requiring different accounts with isolated, disconnected data across tools. Plus, these tools come at a high cost. In the current economic downturn, all businesses are looking to cut costs and boost efficiency. If a single tool can offer comprehensive, basic collaborative office functions at an extremely low cost, it's a perfect fit for enterprises, which is why I created Teamlinker.

Teamlinker is a web operating system built on the TeamOS system. This system interaction model lets users handle multiple tasks in parallel. You can open windows and apps, with interactions just as intuitive as Windows, macOS and other mainstream operating systems.

Teamlinker has 6 core functions:

  1. Project management
  2. Document management
  3. Calendar scheduling
  4. Video conferencing
  5. Online chat
  6. Cloud drive file management These functions are fully integrated to work together, maximizing team efficiency to the greatest extent possible.

To some extent, Teamlinker is comparable to Feishu (the leading domestic Chinese collaboration tool) and the combo of Jira + Microsoft Teams (popular international solutions), but has many distinct advantages:

  1. Technically, Teamlinker lets you handle multiple tasks in the same window, with deep integration between all functions. It's as easy to pick up as the operating system you currently use. Plus, as it's built on a desktop system, it has strong scalability, with every new feature released as a standalone app.
  2. On the product side, most users dislike existing collaboration tools because they are designed for top-down management. I built Teamlinker as a desktop-based tool to add more warmth and possibilities: you can customize your desktop, add your preferred photos, organize your notes, and more, turning it from a cold tool into a warm companion that feels welcoming the moment you open it.
  3. On pricing, Teamlinker is currently completely free, and supports offline Docker deployment. You only need a server to easily set up a fully functional internal network environment.

I also plan to open source all of Teamlinker's code once the product is stable. For the first version, I have already open sourced the Editor, Calendar and Meeting components. I hope to raise the project's visibility while contributing my small part to the open source community.
