Stone Reading is an all-in-one reading app that meets all your reading needs: tracking book updates, downloading and sharing books, subscribing to news, and accessing reading communities.
Novel tracking: We track web novel updates in real time and send you instant alerts. Using the latest web crawling technology, we smartly track your favorite web novels. Once an author releases an update, we search the entire Chinese web, format the content properly, and deliver it to you as soon as possible.
Feature list: Night mode, adjustable line spacing, customizable font size and type, auto-read, text-to-speech, offline voice reading, source switching, full-screen reading, offline download, multiple page-turning options, customizable button positions, in-chapter search, and more.
Cloud reader: Supports EPUB, PDF, and TXT formats, with more formats in development. We rebuilt our reading engine to take the TXT and EPUB reading experience to a whole new level. PDF reading supports landscape dual-page display, giving you the feel of reading a real magazine, and making double-sided pages more complete. You can upload books to the app via WiFi or iTunes, and they will be automatically backed up to our servers, creating your own private cloud library. No need to worry about your phone's storage space – you can download them back for free anytime, and our servers have no storage limits. For every book you import, the app automatically matches its detailed info including author, cover, tags, and synopsis, all curated as the best available data from our user community. You can also back up your bookmarks and reading progress to the cloud, so you won't lose them when switching devices – once imported, your data is stored permanently in the cloud. It's a feature-rich mobile library. All our books can also be opened in other apps, because we know we're not perfect, and we want you to have full access to your content.
The Wikipedia of book apps: You can freely edit a book's title, name, cover, and other details. Every edit you make is automatically synced to our servers, so you see the same info across all your devices. Your edits also help provide more accurate book information for other users.
Free sharing: You can also freely download books shared by other users. Full support for third-party social media sharing. Supports AirDrop sharing to other iOS and Mac users (no need for the recipient to have our app installed). Supports multitasking, split-screen, background downloads, and download completion notifications.
If you come across any books that violate laws and regulations in mainland China or your local region, please contact us. We encourage users to share out-of-print, long-unavailable books that can no longer be officially sold, so these books will not appear on commercial bookshelves and will not affect the interests of authors or publishers. Even if our work only slightly promotes the spread of human civilization, all our efforts are worth it. Launched in 2015, we pay tribute to the classic Biquge and the earlier version of the Book Tracker app.
