Moment is a countdown app that lives permanently in your macOS menu bar and Notification Center.
We live in fleeting time. Remembering every small important day and major life event, tracking the progress of each day and year, and caring for your loved ones near and far are all meaningful small rituals in daily life. With Moment, you can get a quick glance at all these important dates right on your computer.
• Countdowns & Anniversaries Create countdowns for all your anticipated events and activities: birthdays, exams, graduations, weddings, trips, payday, Christmas, New Year, WWDC 2020, the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, or how many days are left until your favorite game launches. Commemorate past events to track the number of days passed since: how many days you've been pregnant, how long you've been working from home, how many days you've been at your new job.
• Time Progress Bars Know what percentage of today, or this year, has already passed? Use the time progress bars to plan your time better, spend less time slacking off and more time being productive.
• Age Tracking Add your newborn baby to watch them grow day by day. Add profile photos and ages of your loved ones, friends, parents and family members to remind yourself to stay in touch with them. Don't forget to add yourself: watch yourself grow and age, and make sure you don't waste a single day or year.
• Custom Events Add custom emojis and photos to every date. Set events to repeat yearly, monthly, weekly or daily based on the event type, like reminders to deworm your cat every month. Set custom reminder times for upcoming important dates, choose to get notified on the day or earlier.
• Multiple Views to Check Your Dates Add any individual date to your menu bar for a quick glance without opening the app. P.S. My personal favorite is the "Today" time progress bar: seeing that 50% of the day has already passed and I haven't finished any tasks yet makes me want to get moving right away. You can also add individual events to the Notification Center "Today" widget, so you can check your important date progress while checking the weather.
