Film rating systems have long been a glaring gap in China's cultural and entertainment sector. While rolling out such a system isn't technically demanding, it has failed to gain full traction for a host of reasons. That's why we built this MPAA film rating browser extension: it displays MPAA ratings directly on Douban and Tencent Movie pages to give movie fans more reliable viewing references.
