As we get older, have you noticed it’s getting harder and harder to make new friends?

Back in our school days, our social circles were limited to peers of the same age. We all thought about similar things, cared about the same topics, so it was easy to find common ground with classmates and chat for hours.

But as we grow up and leave our student identities behind, the world seems to change. There are fewer new people we can meet in daily life, and it’s no longer easy to find that instant connection we had in school. Even worse, we start to close ourselves off, stop sharing our thoughts openly, and gradually lose touch with old friends. It must feel really lonely, right?

We all so badly need a channel to meet new people, to find that special someone. But finding spiritual resonance is such a hard thing. Everyone has a rich inner world, but when someone sits right in front of you, the door to that world stays shut.

If we were completely anonymous, we could probably open up much more easily. That’s why Meet Summer was created. We hope this app can be a magic potion that gives you the courage to meet more people, and eventually help you find that special person.

Meet Summer doesn’t ask you to fill in lots of personal info, upload photos, or pick a unique username. All you need to do is select the gender, age range and distance of the people you want to meet. Tap "Start Meeting" and you’ll be matched with someone who fits your preferences.

Before that, you’ll need to write an opening message to break the ice. You can introduce the unique you, describe what you’re looking for in the other person, or ask them a question to see how they think. Zodiac signs and MBTI are also great icebreakers if you’re not sure what to say.

When you’re matched, your opening message will be sent to the other person as the first message of your chat, and you can start talking right away. You’re fully anonymous during the chat — the only visible info is the distance between you, so there’s no pressure at all. If the chat isn’t going well, you can leave anytime to meet someone new.

But please note that Meet Summer is committed to maintaining a respectful, healthy community for everyone, so we ask all users to be polite and equal. A healthy environment takes everyone’s effort — please make good use of the reporting function, and report any rude users right away. Users who receive multiple reports will be banned for 48 hours.

On Meet Summer, you can only chat with others via text. That’s because we don’t want to be another looks-focused social platform. We encourage you to look for spiritual resonance here. If you really hit it off with someone, feel free to add their contact info freely.
